NCAA Basketball Championship Odds 2026-27: Florida and Duke Lead

Florida and Duke are the co-favorites to win the 2027 NCAA men's basketball national championship, both at +600 at most sportsbooks as of October 11, 2026. With the margin removed from the full board, each has about an 8.9% chance. UConn (+1,000 to +1,200) and Illinois (+1,200 to +1,300) are next, and defending champion Michigan sits 10th with the biggest split between books of any contender. Here are the NCAA basketball championship odds for the top 40 teams across six books, three weeks before the season tips off on November 1.
NCAA basketball championship odds 2026-27
Prices are from bet365, BetMGM, DraftKings, Caesars, FanDuel and BetRivers on the VegasInsider board as of October 11, 2026, cross-checked against the SportsbookReview futures board. Unlike most futures boards, this one prices 362 teams, essentially every team in Division I, so it is a complete field. Added up, the implied odds come to 159.6%; the Fair column divides each team's middle price by that total to remove the books' margin. The April 7 column is FanDuel's opening price, posted the day after last season's title game, where it was among FanDuel's top 11. Compare prices before you bet on our sportsbooks page.

The favorites to win the 2027 national championship
Florida (+550 to +650)
Florida opened at +550 at FanDuel in April and has barely moved. The Gators are +600 at four of six books, and Caesars has the best price at +650. That steadiness is the story: six months of transfers and roster news and the market still has Florida right where it started.
Duke (+550 to +650)
Duke opened at +600 and is +600 at three books now, with BetRivers the longest at +650 and Caesars the shortest at +550. The Blue Devils and Gators finish level at about 8.9% each once the margin comes out.
UConn (+1,000 to +1,200)
UConn lost last season's title game to Michigan, 69-63, and opened the 2027 market at +1,200. Three books still offer +1,200, while bet365 and DraftKings are down to +1,000. That is about a 5% fair chance, third on the board.
Illinois (+1,200 to +1,300)
Illinois has held between +1,200 and +1,300 since April and is the clear fourth choice at about 4.8%.
Where the books disagree most
Defending champion Michigan beat UConn 69-63 on April 6, 2026, and the books cannot agree on the Wolverines' chances to repeat. BetRivers has Michigan at +1,000, the same price as UConn at some books. Caesars and FanDuel have Michigan at +4,000. In relative terms that is the widest split of any team in the top 30: the long price pays four times what the short one does. It is the kind of difference worth shopping for. Texas A&M is the extreme case further down: +6,500 at one book and +30,000 at another. Arkansas (+1,800 to +3,300), Kansas (+2,500 to +5,000) and North Carolina (+3,000 to +6,500) also show wide splits.
Who has moved since April
Most of the top of the board has held steady since FanDuel's April 7 openers. Michigan State is about the same (+1,900 then, +1,700 to +2,000 now), as are Arizona and Louisville. Texas Tech has drifted longer, from +2,200 to a +2,500 middle price, and Tennessee from +3,000 to as long as +3,500 at BetRivers. Texas, Arkansas and Michigan were not among FanDuel's top 11 in April and have since moved into the top 10.
