Ask what changed

Compare the opening and current number, then look for credible news that arrived between them. The size and timing of a move can be informative, but the current price is still the price you must evaluate.

Do not chase blindly

Following movement after the best number is gone can erase the advantage that created the move. Set acceptable thresholds and be willing to pass when the market has moved too far.
