College Football Week 4 Preview: Texas-Tennessee Headlines a Loaded Saturday

Saturday's slate is stacked with ranked-on-ranked matchups across four conferences, and a couple of them already look like playoff eliminators. Here is what is on the board and why each game matters, with lines current as of this week and subject to change before kickoff.
Texas at Tennessee
Texas rolls into Neyland Stadium as one of the last unbeaten top-five teams in the country, and Tennessee has earned plenty of respect right back, which is why this line has moved three times this week. It opened at Texas -7, dropped to 4.5, and has settled at Texas -5.5 with the total at 57.5. Freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon has Tennessee playing fast enough that the market expects a track meet. If you want a game where the number might move again before Saturday, this is the one.
Oklahoma at Georgia
The widest line of the marquee slate, for good reason. Georgia is 3-0 and just put 45 points on Arkansas in its SEC opener, while Oklahoma has looked shaky: a loss to Michigan and a 14-6 grind past New Mexico that should not have been that close. Oklahoma's defense is still legitimate, but until the offense proves it can move the ball against a team this good, the number is hard to argue with.
Texas A&M at LSU
The line movement tells the story. LSU opened as a 3-point home favorite and has been bet up to -8.5, with the total falling from 57.5 to 53.5. When a number moves that far in one direction during the week, it usually means one of two things: sharp money on one side, or a hard shift in how the public sees both teams after last week. Either way, the Aggies have to prove the doubters wrong on the road in Baton Rouge.
Oregon at USC
One of the more surprising numbers on the board. Oregon is favored by just 1.5 on the road, a big shift from the preseason, when the gap between these programs looked much wider. USC has closed that gap with its play, and this now reads as a genuine coin flip between two teams with real Big Ten title hopes.
Wisconsin at Penn State
Penn State is favored by 9.5, which is closer than the season-long expectations gap would suggest, especially with ESPN's win-probability model at 87.5% for the Nittany Lions. New head coach Matt Campbell has Penn State playing differently than last year's group, and the market is not fully convinced the talent gap shows up on the scoreboard the way the roster rankings say it should. Worth a look if you like fading a number the public assumes is bigger than it is.
