World Series Odds 2026: Brewers Favored After 2-0 NLCS Lead

World Series Odds 2026: Brewers Favored After 2-0 NLCS Lead

The Milwaukee Brewers are the favorite to win the 2026 World Series at +100 to +105 across six major sportsbooks as of Tuesday, October 13, 2026 (9:15 AM ET). That works out to about a 45% chance once the bookmaker margin is removed. Milwaukee beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-4 on Monday night to take a 2-0 lead in the NLCS, and a few hours later the Cleveland Guardians won ALCS Game 1 at Tampa Bay, 7-3.

Where it stands
Brewers +100 to +105 (about 45% fair), Dodgers +325 to +340 (21%), Guardians +400 to +425 (18%), Rays +460 to +500 (16%). The Brewers lead the NLCS 2-0 and the Guardians lead the ALCS 1-0. Prices from BetMGM, FanDuel, DraftKings, bet365, Caesars and BetRivers, as of October 13, 2026. Odds move after every game.

2026 World Series odds for all four teams left

These are the World Series winner prices for the four teams still alive. We collected them from the sportsbook boards on SportsbookReview and VegasInsider on the morning of Tuesday, October 13, after both Monday games went final. The two sites matched at the books they share. The fair chance column removes the margin across the full four-team board, which added up to 109.2% before the vig was taken out.

Shopping the price matters even this late. DraftKings has the Rays at +500 while FanDuel sits at +460, and BetMGM and BetRivers both have Cleveland at +425. On a $100 ticket that is a $40 or $25 difference for the same outcome. Our sportsbook comparison page lists the books we track.

How the World Series odds moved this October

Two weeks ago this was the Dodgers' market to lose. The defending champions, who beat the Toronto Blue Jays in seven games last November, were still a short price going into the NLCS. Two losses in Milwaukee flipped the board. The table below uses SportsbookReview's opener column, VegasInsider's board from the morning of October 11 (before NLCS Game 1), and Covers' October 12 midday update (after Game 1).

TeamOpenerOct 11Oct 12 middayNow
Brewers+2500+250 to +310+175+100 to +105
Dodgers+300+105 to +115+180+325 to +340
Guardians+3000+700 to +750+650+400 to +425
Rays+5000+300 to +340+340+460 to +500

The Guardians are the other big mover. They opened at +3000, needed to rally from 0-2 down in the ALDS against the Chicago White Sox, and are now the second choice in the American League bracket after stealing Game 1 at Tropicana Field.

NLCS and ALCS series odds after Monday

The pennant markets are two-team fields, so each book's pair can be de-vigged directly. Prices below are from BetMGM, Caesars and BetRivers on the morning of October 13. Several other books on the same board had not yet updated after Monday's games, so we left them out.

SeriesBetMGMCaesarsBetRiversFair chance
Brewers win NL pennant-300-285-295about 71%
Dodgers win NL pennant+240+235+220about 29%
Guardians win AL pennant-150-155-143about 57%
Rays win AL pennant+125+135+115about 43%

Why the Dodgers are still +325 while down 0-2

Put the two markets together and the board says something interesting. The Dodgers have about a 29% fair chance to win the pennant and about a 21% fair chance to win the World Series. That means the market thinks Los Angeles would win roughly three of every four World Series against either American League team if it gets there. The Brewers, by the same math, would be about a 63% favorite in the World Series. In other words, the books still rate the Dodgers as the strongest team left. They are just in a deep hole.

Milwaukee does hold one edge if both clubs make it. Home field in the World Series goes to the team with the better regular-season record, and the Brewers (103-59) and Dodgers (100-62) both finished ahead of the Rays (98-64) and Guardians (85-77). Whichever team wins the NL pennant would open the World Series at home.

NLCS Game 2: how the Brewers took a 2-0 lead

The Brewers beat the Dodgers 7-4 at American Family Field on Monday, October 12. Milwaukee chased Yoshinobu Yamamoto after 2 2/3 innings with a two-run third, keyed by a bases-loaded two-run single from Christian Yelich. William Contreras went 3 for 4 with three RBI, including a solo home run in the fifth that tied it 4-4 and an RBI single in the sixth that put Milwaukee ahead for good. The Brewers bullpen closed with four scoreless innings, and Brice Turang and Jake Bauers added RBI singles in the eighth. Milwaukee also won Game 1, 2-1.

ALCS Game 1: Guardians beat the Rays 7-3 at Tropicana Field

The Rays jumped out 2-0 in the first inning on RBI singles from Junior Caminero and Jonny DeLuca, and Drew Rasmussen held Cleveland to one run through six. Then the Guardians took over. Chase DeLauter homered in the sixth, Patrick Bailey tied it with a solo shot in the seventh, Nathaniel Lowe drove in two in the eighth, and Cleveland added three in the ninth on a JosΓ© RamΓrez RBI single and a two-run double from Jo Adell. DeLauter finished 3 for 4 with three runs scored. Cleveland closed at +146 on the moneyline, per FOX Sports.

How to bet World Series futures this late in October

1
Convert the price to a percentage
+105 means risk $100 to win $105, an implied 48.8% before the vig. Our guide to reading betting odds walks through the math.
2
Compare it with the series price
A World Series ticket on a team still in its LCS is a two-step bet. Check the pennant price first. If you only like a team to win its league, the pennant market pays less but asks for less.
3
Shop the number
Books disagree by 20 to 40 cents on underdogs this late. Take the best price on the board, not the first one you see.
4
Plan a hedge if you already hold a ticket
If you bet a team back in the summer, the LCS and World Series give you chances to lock in profit. See how hedge bets work.
