The 2026-27 College Football Playoff is a twelve-team field. First-round games are played at campus sites on December 18 and 19. Quarterfinals run December 30 and January 1 across the Fiesta, Cotton, Rose and Peach Bowls. Semifinals are the Orange Bowl on January 14 and the Sugar Bowl on January 15. The national championship is Monday, January 25, 2027 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Why bowl games do not bet like regular season games
This is the part worth internalising now rather than in December. Bowl season is the one stretch of the year where the football itself is the least reliable input. Four things change, and all of them widen the range of outcomes.

Treat playoff games and consolation bowls as two different markets, because they are.
