NFL Playoff Predictions 2026: Every Team's Playoff Odds and a Projected Bracket

Our NFL playoff predictions for 2026 come straight from the betting market. As of October 3, 2026, the Buffalo Bills are the safest bet to make the playoffs at about 90%, and the most likely Super Bowl LXI matchup is the Bills against the Los Angeles Rams. Here is every team's chance to reach the postseason, a projected bracket and the races that look closest.
NFL playoff predictions: projected bracket
We seed each conference the way the NFL does: the four division favorites take seeds 1 to 4, ordered by their odds to win the conference, and the next three teams by playoff probability take seeds 5 to 7. The No. 1 seed gets the only bye.
Super Bowl LXI prediction: the Bills are the AFC favorite at +300 to +325 and the Rams the NFC favorite at +350 to +400, so the market's most likely Super Bowl is Buffalo against Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium in February 2027. That pairing still happens only a small fraction of the time, which is why the full Super Bowl odds board matters more than any single prediction.
NFL playoff odds for all 32 teams, by division
"Division odds" is the middle price across six books (bet365, BetMGM, DraftKings, Caesars, FanDuel and BetRivers), rounded to the nearest 5. "Win div" removes the margin across the four teams. "Playoffs" comes from five books' prices to make the postseason, scaled so the league adds up to the 14 real spots. All odds as of October 3, 2026.

The closest NFL playoff races
NFC North: Vikings vs Lions
The Minnesota Vikings (3-0) and Detroit Lions (2-1) are separated by one point to win the NFC North, 37% to 36%. Both are about 68% to 69% to make the playoffs, so the division title mostly decides who gets a home game. The Chicago Bears, at 49% to make it, are the NFL's first team out.
AFC North: Ravens vs Bengals, and the Browns
The Baltimore Ravens are 52% to win the AFC North and the Cincinnati Bengals 34%. The Cleveland Browns beat Pittsburgh 27-24 on Thursday to go 3-1 and take first place, yet the market gives them about 6% to win the division and 22% to make the playoffs.
NFC West: three playoff teams
The NFC West is the only division where the market expects three playoff teams: the San Francisco 49ers (79%), Los Angeles Rams (70%) and Seattle Seahawks (68%). The 49ers are 45% to win the division.
NFC South: a 1-2 favorite
Every NFC South team is 1-2 or worse, so the New Orleans Saints are 45% to make the playoffs while being the division favorite at about +130. The division winner gets a top-four seed even with a weak record.
Undefeated teams the market doubts
The Las Vegas Raiders are 3-0 but only 36% to make the playoffs, because they share the AFC West with Kansas City (80%) and Denver (65%). The Raiders host the Chiefs on Sunday as 4.5-point underdogs. On the other side, the 0-3 Houston Texans are still 38% to make it, close to the Raiders, because the AFC South is weaker.
