Tier 1: the Super Bowl contenders (1 to 6)
1. Los Angeles Rams (1-2) · Super Bowl +650 · playoffs 70%. The Rams lost to San Francisco in Melbourne and to Denver, which came back from a 16-0 halftime deficit, with a win over the Giants in between. The market still prices them as the most likely champion, partly because Super Bowl LXI is at their own SoFi Stadium in February. They are 3.5-point road favorites at Philadelphia.
2. Buffalo Bills (3-0) · Super Bowl +670 · playoffs 90%. Buffalo has the best playoff odds in football at 90% and is +300 to +325 to win the AFC. Josh Allen, the NFL MVP favorite, has 11 total touchdowns through three games. The Bills host New England as 6.5-point favorites.
3. Baltimore Ravens (2-1) · Super Bowl +900 · playoffs 82%. Baltimore is 2-1 and +425 to +450 to win the AFC. The Ravens are the biggest favorite on the Week 4 board, 11.5 points over Tennessee.
4. San Francisco 49ers (3-0) · Super Bowl +900 · playoffs 79%. San Francisco is 3-0 and moved from +1200 to +900 since Week 1, the largest gain of any team. Brock Purdy has jumped to second in the MVP odds. Denver visits as a 2.5-point underdog.
5. Seattle Seahawks (2-1) · Super Bowl +1,000 · playoffs 68%. The defending Super Bowl LX champions are 2-1 after losing at Washington as 8.5-point favorites. Seattle is +470 to +500 to win the NFC and gives 7.5 to the winless Chargers.
6. Kansas City Chiefs (3-0) · Super Bowl +1,100 · playoffs 80%. Kansas City is 3-0 behind Patrick Mahomes in his return from a torn ACL, with 80% playoff odds. The Chiefs are 4.5-point favorites at the 3-0 Raiders in a matchup of unbeaten AFC West teams.
Tier 2: likely playoff teams (7 to 13)
7. Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) · Super Bowl +1,700 · playoffs 72%. The Bengals sit at 72% to make the playoffs, fourth-best in the AFC. They are 2.5-point home favorites over Jacksonville in a game between two 2-1 teams.
8. Philadelphia Eagles (2-1) · Super Bowl +1,700 · playoffs 66%. Philadelphia is a 3.5-point home underdog to the Rams. Jalen Hurts has fallen from +2200 to around +4000 in the MVP odds.
9. Detroit Lions (2-1) · Super Bowl +1,900 · playoffs 68%. Detroit is 2-1 with 68% playoff odds. Running back Jahmyr Gibbs is the top non-quarterback in the MVP market. The Lions are 3.5-point favorites at Carolina on Sunday night.
10. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-1) · Super Bowl +2,000 · playoffs 66%. Jacksonville leads the AFC South at 2-1, and Trevor Lawrence threw three touchdowns in the Week 3 win over New England. The Jaguars are +690 to +950 to win the AFC.
11. Denver Broncos (2-1) · Super Bowl +2,000 · playoffs 65%. Denver came back from 16-0 down at halftime to beat the Rams in Week 3. The Broncos are +950 to +1100 to win the AFC and 2.5-point underdogs at San Francisco.
12. Chicago Bears (2-1) · Super Bowl +2,200 · playoffs 49%. Chicago is the second-biggest Super Bowl riser since Week 1, from +4000 to +2200, but its playoff odds are only 49% in a crowded NFC. Caleb Williams has been dealing with a hamstring injury.
13. Minnesota Vikings (3-0) · Super Bowl +2,500 · playoffs 69%. The Vikings are 3-0 and 69% to make the playoffs, but only 13th here because the market rates their ceiling lower than the teams above. They are 10.5-point favorites over winless Miami.
Tier 3: the coin flips (14 to 21)
14. Dallas Cowboys (1-2) · Super Bowl +2,800 · playoffs 41%. Dallas is 1-2 with 41% playoff odds and a 3-point underdog at Houston.
15. New England Patriots (1-2) · Super Bowl +3,000 · playoffs 48%. New England, last season's Super Bowl runner-up, has drifted from +2000 to +3000 and is a 6.5-point underdog at Buffalo.
16. Houston Texans (0-3) · Super Bowl +3,500 · playoffs 38%. Houston is 0-3 and still 38% to make the playoffs, a sign the market expects the record to correct. The Texans are 3-point favorites over Dallas.
17. Green Bay Packers (1-2) · Super Bowl +5,500 · playoffs 29%. Green Bay roughly doubled from +2800 to +5500 after a 1-2 start. The Packers are 3.5-point favorites at 0-3 Tampa Bay.
18. Los Angeles Chargers (0-3) · Super Bowl +6,500 · playoffs 17%. The 0-3 Chargers have the longest playoff odds of any team in this tier and are 7.5-point underdogs at Seattle.
19. Indianapolis Colts (1-2) · Super Bowl +6,600 · playoffs 35%. Indianapolis is a 4.5-point favorite at Washington in Sunday's 9:30 AM ET kickoff.
20. New Orleans Saints (1-2) · Super Bowl +8,000 · playoffs 45%. The Saints are 1-2 but 45% to make the playoffs, the highest of any NFC South team, because the division looks open. They host Atlanta on Monday night as 2.5-point favorites.
21. Las Vegas Raiders (3-0) · Super Bowl +8,000 · playoffs 36%. Las Vegas is 3-0 and has climbed from +15000 to +8000, yet the market gives the Raiders just 36% to make the playoffs. Hosting Kansas City is the first real test.
Tier 4: long shots (22 to 29)
22. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-2) · Super Bowl +8,000 · playoffs 22%. Pittsburgh lost 27-24 at Cleveland on Thursday and fell to 2-2. Its Super Bowl price varies more than any team's, from +5000 at DraftKings to +15000 at FanDuel.
23. Washington Commanders (1-2) · Super Bowl +8,000 · playoffs 20%. Washington is 1-2 despite the Week 3 upset of Seattle. The Commanders are 4.5-point home underdogs to Indianapolis.
24. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-3) · Super Bowl +10,000 · playoffs 19%. Tampa Bay is 0-3 and has doubled from +5000 to +10000 since Week 1.
25. Carolina Panthers (1-2) · Super Bowl +12,500 · playoffs 26%. Carolina is 1-2 and a 3.5-point home underdog to Detroit on Sunday night.
26. Atlanta Falcons (1-2) · Super Bowl +12,500 · playoffs 26%. Atlanta is 1-2 and plays at New Orleans on Monday night as a 2.5-point underdog.
27. New York Giants (2-1) · Super Bowl +12,500 · playoffs 21%. The Giants are 2-1, but quarterback Jaxson Dart's season-ending knee injury pushed them from +4500 to +12500. They are 2.5-point home underdogs to Arizona.
28. Cleveland Browns (3-1) · Super Bowl +20,000 · playoffs 22%. Cleveland beat Pittsburgh 27-24 on Thursday to move to 3-1 and into first place in the AFC North. The market is unconvinced: +20000 to win it all and about a 22% chance to make the playoffs.
29. New York Jets (1-2) · Super Bowl +22,500 · playoffs 16%. The Jets are 1-2 and 3.5-point underdogs at Chicago.
Tier 5: the bottom three (30 to 32)
30. Arizona Cardinals (1-2) · Super Bowl +40,000 · playoffs 6%. Arizona is 1-2 with 6% playoff odds, though the Cardinals are 2.5-point road favorites against the Giants this week.
31. Tennessee Titans (0-3) · Super Bowl +75,000 · playoffs 6%. Tennessee is 0-3 and an 11.5-point underdog at Baltimore.
32. Miami Dolphins (0-3) · Super Bowl +100,000 · playoffs 2%. Miami is 0-3, priced as long as +150000 to win the Super Bowl, and a 10.5-point underdog at Minnesota.
Why the market rankings differ from the standings
A Super Bowl price measures the chance of winning the whole thing, which depends on roster strength, quarterback health and the path through the playoffs, not just the first three games. That is why 1-2 Los Angeles is ahead of 3-0 Minnesota and 3-1 Cleveland is behind 1-2 Dallas. Three games is a small sample, and the market regresses early records hard.
