College Football Week 6 Odds and Preview: Georgia at Alabama Leads the Board

College Football Week 6 Odds and Preview: Georgia at Alabama Leads the Board

Missouri walked into Saturday as the No. 25 team in the country and walked out with a 45-17 beating of No. 8 Florida. That is the kind of result that rewrites a betting board overnight, and the college football Week 6 odds posted Saturday night show it. The headliner is Georgia at Alabama under the lights in Tuscaloosa, where the home team is an underdog: Georgia -2.5 at DraftKings and -1.5 to -2.5 across the market, as of Sunday, October 4, 2026, about 9:30 AM ET.

Where it stands
Week 6 runs Tuesday, October 6 through Saturday, October 10, 2026, and the big games are all Saturday. The four I am watching for betting action are Georgia at Alabama (Georgia -1.5 to -2.5, total 56.5 to 57.5), Oklahoma vs Texas in Dallas (Texas -7.5 to -9.5, total 40.5 to 41), UCLA at Oregon (Oregon -12.5 to -13.5) and LSU at Kentucky (LSU -9.5 to -10.5). Lines are as of Sunday, October 4, 2026, about 9:30 AM ET and will move.

College football Week 6 odds for ranked games

Here is the board for the Week 6 games involving ranked teams. The spread and total columns give the range across BetMGM, bet365, DraftKings, FanDuel, Fanatics and BetRivers. The moneyline is DraftKings unless noted. Kickoff times are Eastern and can still change.

Sources: SportsbookReview's odds board for the opener and each book's current number, cross-checked against VegasInsider's Week 6 board. DraftKings' Red River moneyline (-218) and total (48.5) were out of line with every other book Sunday morning, so FanDuel's moneyline is shown for that game. Florida's kickoff shows as 12:45 PM at the books; check the final TV time during the week. Iowa State at BYU is left off for now because the boards still disagree on the number; I will add it once the market settles.

Biggest Week 6 line moves so far

It is early, so most of these are small moves, but the direction tells you where the first money went. Opened is the opening number on SportsbookReview's board; now is the number most books show Sunday morning.

The Red River number is the one I would keep an eye on. Texas was -6 to -6.5 on the early openers at both SportsbookReview and VegasInsider and is -8.5 at most books now, a two-point move toward the Longhorns. Missouri is the other: the books are split on both sides of 3, the most important number in football betting, with bet365 at -2.5, DraftKings at -3 and FanDuel, Fanatics and BetRivers at -3.5, the morning after Missouri hung 45 on Florida. If you want to know why a half point around 3 matters so much, the betting basics hub walks through key numbers, and the live odds page is where to watch the board move during the week.

Both teams are 5-0. Georgia beat Vanderbilt 38-14 on Saturday; Alabama beat Mississippi State 56-23.

Georgia at Alabama is the game of the week, and the price says it is close to a coin flip: with the margin removed, the DraftKings moneylines make Georgia a 53.2% favorite. Alabama quarterback Keelon Russell went 16 of 22 for 285 yards and three touchdowns, plus a rushing score, against Mississippi State, and that performance moved him into the top four of the Heisman board. Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton threw for a season-high 295 yards and three touchdowns against Vanderbilt. The injury notes below matter here more than anywhere else on the slate, because both teams have unresolved names. The full breakdown, with odds at six books and the series history, is in our Georgia vs Alabama prediction.

Texas is 4-0 and coming off a bye. Oklahoma is 2-2 and also coming off a bye.

The number that jumps out in Texas vs Oklahoma is the total. At 40.5 to 41 it is about nine points lower than any other game on this Week 6 board, which tells you the market expects Oklahoma's offense to keep struggling against the Texas defense. The spread has moved toward the Longhorns: Texas opened around -6.5 and is -8.5 at most books, with DraftKings at -9.5. With the vig removed, the FanDuel moneylines make Texas a 74.1% favorite. Both teams had last week off, so neither side gets a rest edge.

UCLA is 4-0 under first-year coach Bob Chesney. Both teams were idle on October 3.

UCLA at Oregon is priced as if Oregon quarterback Dante Moore plays. Moore was hurt on a late hit against USC on September 26; his scans came back clean, and on October 3 coach Dan Lanning said it is looking like he is going to be OK while the program proceeds with caution. That is encouraging, but it is not a final status. The line has slipped from an opener of Oregon -13 to -12.5 at most books (FanDuel is -13.5). If Oregon rules Moore out, expect this number to drop further. UCLA quarterback Nico Iamaleava has the Bruins unbeaten.

LSU beat McNeese 63-14. Kentucky came from 17 down to win 35-34 in overtime at South Carolina.

LSU at Kentucky has the clearest early move toward an underdog: LSU opened -10.5 and is down to -9.5 at DraftKings and BetRivers, while bet365 and FanDuel hold -10.5. Kentucky won at South Carolina on a two-point conversion in overtime after trailing by 17, so part of the market is giving the Wildcats a little credit for the comeback. LSU will be without linebacker Whit Weeks, who had surgery on a fractured fibula on September 28. LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt threw three touchdown passes against McNeese while playing through a hamstring issue that local reporting described as not 100%.

Other Week 6 games worth a look

USC is a road favorite at Penn State (USC -1.5 to -2.5, total 55.5 to 56.5) after a 25-21 win over Washington, and Indiana is -8.5 to -9.5 at Nebraska after beating Rutgers 47-15. Florida is still a two-touchdown favorite against South Carolina despite the Missouri loss, which is a good reminder that one bad Saturday rarely changes how the market rates a roster. On Friday night, Iowa visits Washington and Iowa State visits BYU. For how all of this shapes the bigger picture, see the national championship odds, our bowl predictions and the Heisman odds.
